The G8 Leaders' Summit will take place in Muskoka, Ontario on June 25 and 26, 2010, and the G20 Summit in Toronto on June 26 and 27.
Among the topics of the G8 Summit are expected to be the economic climate and the effects of the current financial crisis, development policy, security issues including nuclear non-proliferation, questions of regional security, and climate change and the environment.
The G20 Summit will concern itself with the state of the world economy and questions of financial regulation, especially pertaining to international financial institutions. Also on the agenda is the promotion of employment.
At both summits, the Federal Republic of Germany will be represented by Chancellor Angela Merkel.
