On the 1st of March 2010, the "Deutschmobil" will start its 3-month-tour across Canada, being true to the motto "German in Motion/L'allemande en route." The kick-off-event for the unique "Deutschmobil"-tour will take place at Appleby College Oakville (Ontario), one of the Canadian schools supported by the initiative "Schools: Partners of the future."

The aim of "Schools: Partners of the future," an initiative developed by the former German minister of foreign affairs Frank-Walter Steinmeier, is to establish a network of at least 1,000 partner schools spanning the globe, and in doing so, to encourage young individuals to take an interest in and have an enthusiasm for modern Germany, its language and society.

The two young language ambassadors Eva and Florian are now looking forward to the upcoming challenge. Together, and with the support of Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc., they will visit numerous Canadian schools with the goal of representing Germany - its culture and language - as an attractive, innovative and colorful resource for everyone.

For the first month, Eva and Florian will tour the eastern parts of Canada - Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec-City, Halifax and also many smaller communities. After a short break in Toronto, they will continue their journey to the west for two more months. Schools in large cities such as Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Victoria, as well as smaller cities and towns are happy to welcome the "Deutschmobil" and its crew.

"Deutschmobil" is a cooperative and varied language and culture project in collaboration with the German Embassy Ottawa, the German Consulate General in Toronto, the Goethe Institut in Canada, the Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA) and the Ontario Association of Teachers of German (OATG). "Deutschmobil" forms part of the "Innovation Germany" project series, initiated by the German Embassy in Ottawa.

C’est sous le slogan « German in Motion / L’allemand en route » que le Deutschmobil entamera le 1er mars 2010 son périple de trois mois à travers le Canada.  Cette tournée canadienne unique du Deutschmobil sera lancée au Appleby College Oakville (Ontario), une des écoles PASCH.

Créé à l’initiative de l’ancien ministre allemand des Affaires étrangères, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, le projet « Les écoles : partenaires de l’avenir (PASCH) » a pour but de développer un réseau international d’au moins 1000 écoles partenaires et de susciter l’intérêt et l’enthousiasme des jeunes pour l’Allemagne et sa société, telles qu’elles se présentent aujourd’hui.

Les deux jeunes ambassadeurs de la langue, Eva et Florian, attendent impatiemment le début de cette aventure : à bord du Deutschmobil gracieusement offert Mercedes-Benz Canada, Inc., ils visiteront de nombreuses écoles canadiennes afin de présenter une Allemagne attrayante, rafraîchissante et diversifiée avec une langue et une culture tout aussi jeunes et dynamiques.

Ce voyage mènera tout d’abord nos ambassadeurs de la langue dans l’est du Canada pour une période d’environ un mois.   Ils visiteront les villes de Kingston, Ottawa, Montréal, Québec, Halifax et de nombreuses petites localités.  Ils mettront ensuite deux mois pour parcourir l’ouest du pays.  Outre les destinations connues que sont Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver et Victoria, de petites communautés auront également le plaisir d’accueillir le Deutschmobil et son équipage.

Deutschmobil est un vaste projet culturel et linguistique organisé conjointement par l’Ambassade d’Allemagne à Ottawa, le Consulat général d’Allemagne à Toronto, les Goethe-Institut au Canada, la Zentrale für Auslandschulen (ZdA) et la Ontario Association of Teachers of German (OATG). Deutschmobil est également un volet du projet « Innovation-Germany.ca» initié par l’Ambassade d’Allemagne à Ottawa.

Unter dem Motto „German in Motion/L'allemand en route" wird das "Deutschmobil" am 1. März 2010 seine 3-monatige Reise quer durch Kanada starten. Eröffnet wird diese erstmalige "Deutschmobil"-Kanadatour mit einem Kick-Off-Event am Appleby College Oakville (Ontario), einer der kanadischen PASCH-Schulen.

PASCH-Schulen entstanden aus einer Initiative des damaligen deutschen Außenministers Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Ihr Ziel ist es, ein weltumspannendes Netz von mindestens 1.000 Partnerschulen aufzubauen und damit bei jungen Menschen Interesse und Begeisterung für das moderne Deutschland, seine Sprache und seine Gesellschaft zu wecken.

Die zwei jungen Sprachbotschafter Eva und Florian warten voller Tatendrang auf das ihnen bevorstehende Abenteuer: Mit dem von Mercedes-Benz Canada, Inc. gesponserten "Deutschmobil" werden sie eine Vielzahl kanadischer Schulen besuchen, um dort ein attraktives, frisches und buntes Deutschland mit einer ebenso jungen wie dynamischen Sprache und Kultur vorzustellen.

Die geplante Route führt unsere Sprachbotschafter zunächst für ungefähr einen Monat in den Osten Kanadas - Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec-City, Halifax und viele kleinere Orte werden besucht. Für die Fahrt in den Westen ist ein Zeitraum von zwei Monaten vorgesehen. Neben bekannten Zielen wie Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria werden auch viele kleinere Orte die Freude haben, das "Deutschmobil" und seine Crew als „Besucher" empfangen zu dürfen.

"Deutschmobil" ist ein gemeinsames und vielseitiges Kultur- und Sprachprojekt in Zusammenarbeit der Deutschen Botschaft Ottawa, dem deutschen Generalkonsulat in Toronto, den Goethe Instituten in Kanada, der Zentrale für das Auslandschulen (ZfA) und der Ontario Association of Teachers of German (OATG). Deutschmobil ist ein Teil der von der Botschaft der Bundsrepublik Deutschland in Ottawa initiierten Projektreihe "Innovation-Germany.ca".
